This exquisite Jacobean two tiered oak pot-board buffet sideboard is a real statement piece.

It’s three cupboards and two large drawers provide plenty of storage; there are an additional two drawers hidden inside the cupboards. The open pot-board shelf is perfect for decorative displays or functional storage. 
 
The entire piece has been stripped of its original finish. The solid oak top, bottom shelf and beautiful quartered veneer pattern on the doors have been stained with weathered warm grey finishing oil. The inside shelves have been painted with a muted pale blue mineral paint to match the exterior. Removable William Morris paper was used to line the middle drawer.
 
Unusual antique tassel pulls for the doors and minimalistic brass handles for the drawers replace the original hardware. 
The sideboard was treated with our in-house made wood balm with beeswax to protect and give a subtle buffed sheen.
