This stunning bureau was refinished to reveal the beauty of natural pine. 

It was stripped of the original orange stain, the wood was bleached and the entire piece was cleaned. It was then washed with two different shades of Fusion mineral paint to further lift the tone of the wood. We then added depth with Dixie Belle glaze to protect and create an antique weathered look. 

The inside of the bureau and the cubbyholes were painted in Fusion mineral paint - a neutral combination of Algonquin and Cathedral Taupe. The traditional leather writing pad was replaced with gorgeous linen fabric. We added a subtle motif to the fabric in gilding wax to make it even more unique. 
 
The entire piece was nourished and sealed with in-house made furniture wax. 
 
It is spacious and solid, in perfect vintage condition. It offers plenty of storage with two large and further two smaller drawers. There is a wide shallow drawer for your paper storage which also serves as extra support for the drop-down desk. 

Inside, the desk offers plenty of space for a large laptop or any other device you might be working on. 
 
The drawers are solid and clean, run smoothly and have all been nourished with our furniture wax.
